Mat Silver vs Tony Burt

» Ultimate Wave

Label: Above The Sky
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Trance & Breaks

Two new remixes of this belter from the Above The Sky stable, both catering for different markets but both destined to be as huge as the original!

First up is the Airbase Remix, and as you'd exepct from ATS it's a properly trancey affair from one of Sweden's leading producers. Driving percussion, a nice pumping bassline, floating arpeggios, huge synths and pads, and THAT melody !! The overall production quality is immense, the arrangement is faultless and the tune itself is simply huge. Destined to be on a trance compilation near you soon, this version is less full on than Mat & Tony's original and the amazing Alphazone Remix, but will ably cater for the Euphoria generation Thumbs up

Second up is the Breaks Mix from Mat & Tony themselves, and what a mix it is too! Huge phat dirty breakbeats, a dark bassline, twisted 303s, bags of energy and drive - and then a breakdown to die for, straight out of a chilled euphoria CD with the lushest pads you'll hear, a female choristor (that's the best description I can come up with!) and again that (almost haunting) melody - before the dirtyness and drive returns! If you love the recent and more chilled Solar Stone stuff along wth the energy of the Plump DJs then this is right up your street - awesome stuff!

This will be huge.....
