I had a superb night of trance, Joachin the first dj warmed us up nicely for Armin's 4hrs set which was brilliant from start to finish - loved it!
Great crowd and atmosphere. Just a shame about the heat in that venue, unbelievably hot, so much so I was sick twice and had to leave straight after Armin's set which really pissed me off as there was some great music in the other rooms.
Why can't the academy sort this out? I remember years ago going to Frantic there and it being the same, surely by law it should have been sorted by now? People were collapsing all over the place.

it was VERY hot there for hospitality on friday night. that kind of thing doesnt usually bother me but i had to have quite a few little cool down breaks
saw paramedics arriving once but dont know why. there was a girl on the floor in the toilets but looked more to do with booze/drugs than heat
I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, where oxlips and the nodding violet grows. Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, with sweet musk-roses and with eglantine. There sleeps Titania sometime of the night, lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight. And there the snake throws her enamell'd skin, weed wide enough to wrap a fairy in.

I sent an email complaining about the heat to Brixton Accademy, the general manager stated there was, get this...... "heat extraction" in the venue and it was switched on that night.
Surely an air conditioning system should be in a venue that size? He stated it wasn't a requirement?
My friends and I will definately not attend that venue again, it really did ruin my night. I wanted to hear 4hrs of Armin but had to keep going to get more drinks, sit down to cool off. It was ridiculous!
