Their latest venture is a beautiful 400 capacity traditional London boozer with a bumper 2am licence for plenty of evening decadence and debauchery. The sound system has been sourced from the old Cross venue as they intend to host some fantastic guests along the way in February with an array of free nights hosting guests like Disco Bloodbath’s Damon Martin and James Priestley (Secretsundaze/Go!Zilla) who will be joining us alongside new exciting residencies from TIRK records, Steve Proctor’s Acidiscothec, The Discovery boys and Claremont amongst many others. Next Friday sees Hot Blood return to the venue, Fillary & Butterfield plus guests, the guys behind the fantastic Lovebox festival, after some thunderous dancefloor action last month… Hot Blood have started working on their summer extravaganza at the Lovebox Festival, the HOT BLOOD SOUND SYSTEM, which will feature the sound of London’s underground with the cream of the capitals sound systems and party crews hitting the decks. Continuing in their key roles as Lovebox house DJs and putting the festival together every year has seen the pair book some of their favourite DJs and soundsystems. Here are just a few who've rocked the Lovebox. The Idjut Boys, Maurice Fulton, Adam Goldstone, Rub n Tug, DJ Cash Money, DJ Spinna, Theo Parish, the Nextmen, Todd Terje, Danielle Baldelli, Afrika Bambaata, Horse Meat Disco, Faith, secretsundaze, Greg Wilson, DJ Derek, Marky and Patif, Hector Romero, Tiefschwarz, Diplo, Disco Bloodbath, Unabombers... plus an honourable mention for past contributions to the craft: Grandmaster Flash.
