The Bang Bang Club is set to be the most slick and stylish venue Cape Town has seen, operating as a fully functional bar and music venue on Fridays and Saturdays, it is also available for functions and events from Sunday – Thursday.
Situated in the heart of Cape Town at 70 Loop Street the club is central and parking never hard to find in the evenings with plenty of security right outside the building. We are able to host any event from wrap parties for the film and model industry, to private functions and birthday parties, to film and movie shoots, and even corporate functions, launch events and end of year Christmas parties.
Managed and owned by Garan Reck, Shaun Duvet and Federico Scarpecci with SoulCandi as the JHB based partner, this venue is aimed at lifting the overall standards of nightlife in Cape Town to new levels. The focus will be on quality music but the venue will also have the option of allowing the clientele to relax in opulent surroundings and have good conversation with friends. The Bang Bang Club offers speedy and efficient bar and floor service, live comedy and music acts, and the opportunity to ogle the clothes and beautiful South African models in the fashion shows that GUESS as primary sponsor of the BBC plus other fashion houses plan to hold there. Shaun Duvet and Anything Goes have a full stable of dj’s, comedians, and other entertainment that can be included in any event package to ensure your event stands out from the rest, and all at preferential rates to the BBC.
The venue is situated in the heart of the Mother City and the amazing structural design and décor scheme feature metal, leather and natural colours which transform at night with the use of intelligently designed lighting effects that change the mood during the evening by alternating the visual style of everything around you.
The club is serviced by three bars including the twelve metre Main bar, the Mezzanine bar and the Boom Boom Room, our pimping leather walled VIP room with its own private bar. Stocked with exciting fresh cocktails and a wide selection of premium brands, the service at The Bang Bang club will always be fast and friendly making your evening an enjoyable and memorable one that leaves you wanting more. Remember that should we not have a specific cocktail that you are looking for, speak to Federico and he will make it up just for you, and who knows, it may even find its way onto our permanent cocktail menu!
For corporate functions we are happy to conceptualise and create snacks and drinks of your choice to go with a theme or personal preference, whatever you need we can do! Décor, lighting and branding are also all well within our realm of expertise, just supply the brief and we’ll make it happen.
On the technical side of things The BBC is up there alongside some of the best bars in the world when it comes to the club lighting and sound rig. It has been equipped with top of the range DJ sound, visual and lighting setup that will impress even the most jaded clubber. This includes two plasma screens on either side of the bar that can be used for branding and AV purposes, we have inhouse technicians that will tailor make your presentation needs and even designers if you’d like us to produce the videos you’d like to screen, or we have a selection of images and videos that are used at the club as background images and can be used for any events you’d like to hold at the BBC.
The BBC is also a great venue for corporate functions, private parties, model parties, film shoots, fashion shows etc. Check out the website for interior shots of the venue and to find out availability. We have already been booked to host some of the city’s hottest nightlife shows, make sure you feature your show, shoot or launch event at the club too.
Nights on rotation at the club are the Familia house nights featuring Shaun Duvet, Federico Scarpecci (Tango) and Garan on the decks. Matt Blitz and Jody K will host I Love Digital at the BBC, Comedy Allstars with Cokey Falkow, Paul Snodgrass and friends, and the BBC Ladies Nights “Ooh La La” hosted in conjunction with Ice Models.
